Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, Gareth went on to spend the next four years working within Audit and Assurance, two years of which were spent as a Manager in a well known mid-tier firm.
The opportunity for a move to Corporate Finance Transaction Services with a competitor in 2006 was too good an opportunity to pass up and he spent the next four years acquiring considerable experience within Capital Markets (principally AIM and PLUS markets), private client due diligence and Private Equity due diligence transactions across a wide variety of sectors. During this period he also achieved the ICAEW Corporate Finance designation.
Gareth joined Fitzgerald and Law in 2010 as Director of Corporate Finance and specialises in providing SME businesses with a variety of Transaction Support Services and advice, including M&A financial due diligence, business plan compilation, financial modelling, strategic financing alternatives (including capital markets), company valuation and exit planning.
