Melissa qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, where she worked primarily with the UK subsidiaries of large US technology companies on UK and international corporate tax issues. As a result, she then worked in the US for a year and was also seconded to a UK telecoms client, as their in-house tax manager for 6 months. The following two years were spent on secondment to UK Trade and Investment, advising and assisting overseas companies doing business in the UK.
This led to a similar role at PricewaterhouseCoopers for several years before joining Fitgerald and Law in 2006, where she specialises in international expansion and business tax issues.
